ALCOHOL EDUCATION PROGRAM
Introduction
AEP is a 72-hour Driver Intervention Program (DIP) for first-time DUI offenders located centrally in Wooster , Ohio . Initiated in 2000, AEP is accredited and licensed by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS). AEP serves up to 28 men and women per session.
Through our on-going quality assurance efforts, we have established a 98% satisfaction rating from those who have attended our program. In addition, law enforcement record show that we have an extremely low 01.1% re-offender rate (two-year period) among those who have successfully completed AEP.
Facilities
AEP is a completely self-contained event which takes place within our Wooster headquarters complex. All activities, including classroom events, meals and sleeping, are available on-site. Our dormitory accommodates up to 28 men and women and has full bathrooms for both genders.

Programming and Cost
From 8:30a.m. until 9:00p.m. , the AEP clients have a full agenda of speakers, lectures, testing, videos, group sessions and events carefully coordinated to underscore the message that alcohol and driving do not mix. Further, enough information is provided so that a client who may suspect that he or she has a substance abuse or dependency problem will be able to make the needed decisions to deal with this situation. Night supervision is provided by security personnel on duty within the dormitory area.
Saturday afternoon is reserved for our Family and Significant Other programming. Each client is urged to have someone come and participate. All receive important information on family roles and co-dependency in an interactive segment. The facilitators meet in individual sessions with the client and his/her S.O., which are intended to provide independent verification of the client's usage history.
