Insight
INSIGHT is an intervention program for students who violate school policy or have a negative experience with alcohol or another drug. INSIGHT is for teens in junior high or high school. Students spend eight hours in class, which involves lecture and participatory activities. An intake interview and an exit interview are held with each student. Both interviews include parent or guardian participation.
A two-session parent component is also a part of this program. Parents will learn about adolescent trends regarding alcohol and other drugs and techniques to encourage better parent/child communication
